Our client in St. Louis, MO is looking for a software engineer who can analyze, design, and develop a variety of software for modern applications. Their perfect candidate is a forward-looking individual who enjoys embracing new technologies and is also highly knowledgeable in a few core areas while having a broad range of skills. Responsibilities:
- Assist with the creation of application software through all stages of the development cycle
- Work on multiple projects concentrated on custom cloud solutions
- Collaborate with a team of 20 individuals
- Adapt to and learn new technologies and frameworks
- Work on your own ideas and projects (dedicated timeframes each week)
Requirements:
- Proficient understanding of Object-Oriented Programming
- Experience with relational and/or document-based data stores
- Experience with one or more of the following frameworks (Node, Scala, React, Redux, Angular, Vue.js, hBase, etc.)
- Familiarity with consuming from and standing up rest-based APIs
- Familiarity with Java web development and JavaScript tools
- Experience in an Agile, team-oriented environment
- Experience with AWS/GCP/Azure
