Our client in Dallas, TX is looking for a remote Sr. Data Engineer who can help them achieve their unique vision. In this role, you’ll be overseeing a team of other data engineers while deciding the best approach to building important projects. You’ll be working with both your team and your client to identify ways to continuously improve, expand your work, and deliver the best results. We’ll give you a hint: your perfect algorithm starts by filling out an application.
Responsibilities:
- Build and estimate data engineering projects
- Lead projects while overseeing a team of data scientists, engineers, and designers
- Define and decide the best approach to executing projects
- Advise clients on the benefits and risks of designs in order to solve problems
- Mentor new engineers
- Analyze, explore, and visualize data
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in relevant degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in a data engineering role
- 3+ years in a client facing role
- Portfolio of work
- Experience leading data engineering projects
- Knowledge of common data engineering languages and cloud infrastructure
